The October programming on World of X Games looks back at the summer and beyond, with key moments from the 2019 Vans Park Series and re-airs of Real Moto 2019 and 10 Years of Real Street. After that, the month closes out with a look ahead to winter sports, following Red Gerard, Sage Kotsenberg and Ben Ferguson around the world in OVERJOYED.

Best of the 2019 Vans Park Series

Airs:   10/6 at 2:30 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ABC

The Vans Park Series Pro Tour is the premier platform for professional park terrain skateboarding bar none. Spanning five countries over a five-month season, the series features legendary skater, Tony Hawk, as host and commentator as well as an international roster of skateboarding’s elite pros, including Pedro Barros, Yndiara Asp, Lizzie Armanto and Tom Schaar.

Real Moto 2019 Presented by Nexcare (Re-Air)

Airs:   10/13 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

The fifth and final installment in the Real Series 2019 schedule, Real Moto, features six FMX video parts, behind-the-scenes footage and athlete interviews. The riders feature in Real Moto 2019 are Kris Foster, Colby Raha, Jarryd McNeil, Darryn Durham and Ricky Carmichael. The videos were judged by a panel of industry experts and their selections for which athlete/filmer teams were awarded X Games gold, silver and bronze medals and announced on the show, with cash prizes awarded to the winners.

 

10 Years of Real Street (Re-Air)

Airs:   10/20 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC

Celebrating the 10th year of Real Street, World of X Games host Brandon Graham and legendary Skateboarder Chad Muska will host a Best of Real Street show, taking fans back to where the Real Series began. The show will include highlights from the past 10 years of Real Street video parts, favorite moments and behind-the-scenes content.

 

OVERJOYED

Airs:   10/27 at 1:30 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

As world-renowned snowboarders Red Gerard, Sage Kotsenburg, and Ben Ferguson travel the globe in search of the world’s best terrain and deepest snow, OVERJOYED documents the lines, airs and slashes that encompass one winter of these snowboarders at the top of their game. From the endless tree runs on the north island of Japan, the backcountry of British Columbia and the peaks of the Sierra, to the top of the X Games and US Open slopestyle courses and halfpipes, it all unfolds in the filming of their first snowboard film together, JOY. OVERJOYED focuses on their insight into the world of the Olympic medals and contest venues that banded together the cast of JOY, along with the allure and progression of big mountains and deep snow that propelled them to make this film.
