ESPN continues its exclusive coverage of The Championships, Wimbledon on Wednesday, July 11, with the Gentlemen’s Quarterfinals and Cross Court Coverage – ESPN and ESPN2 all day starting at 8 a.m. ET – for four matches which include seven of the top 13 seeds, including three of the ATP’s “Big Four” – top-seed Roger Federer, No.2 Rafael Nadal and No.12 Novak Djokovic. That trio has combined for 49 Major trophies. The final eight also includes No.9 John Isner; the 6’10” American is seeking his first Major semifinal, playing No.13 Milos Raonic of Canada, a finalist here in 2016.
All the outer televised courts are available on the ESPN App with the new ESPN+ service, making its Major tennis debut. Play begins at 6 a.m. or 6:30 a.m. (depending on the court). One match ESPN+ will have is the American Mixed Doubles team of Jack Sock and Sloane Stephens, playing the No. 2 team of Bruno Soares and Ekaterina Makarova (not before 5 p.m.).

For the first time at the All England Club there are cameras on every court. ESPN’s coverage – first ball to last ball – includes more than 500 matches, all available for fans between ESPN3 and the new ESPN+ on the ESPN app; 140 hours of action will be on TV. The action will climax with the Ladies’ Championship and the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Doubles Championships on ESPN on Saturday, July 14, and the Gentlemen’s Championship on Sunday, July 15, followed by the Mixed Doubles Championship.
Ladies’ Semifinals Thursday
Thursday’s Wimbledon Ladies’ Semifinals feature 23-time Major champion, including seven at Wimbledon, No. 25 Serena Williams vs. No. 13 Julia Goerges. The other match is a battle of Major champions, No. 11 Angelique Kerber (2016 Australian and US Opens) vs. No. 12 Jelena Ostapenko (2017 French Open).
