Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.

Today’s show: “Un art autre” is on view at Lévy Gorvy in London through Saturday, August 29. The group exhibition, the title of which translates to “Art of another kind” and refers to a phrase coined by Michel Tapié in 1952, looks at work produced in postwar Paris. Included are works by Sam Francis, Joan Mitchell, Jean Paul Riopelle, Pierre Soulages, and Zao Wou-Ki.
