Hey Baltimore, it’s Voter Education Week!

With just over a week to go before the Primary Election, Baltimore Votes is on a mission to make sure that every voter feels ready to head to the ballot box.

But first, an important reminder…

URGENT: Today is the last day to register!

Today, May 27, is the last day to register to vote, update your address, or change your party affiliation.

Head over to the State Board of Elections site where you can:

If you have access to a printer and want to receive your ballot electronically, you have until May 29 to request a ballot.

Tune in live all day
Greater Baltimore Committee CEO Don Fry and WBAL NewsRadio host Bryan Nehman will co-moderate a debate of the leading Democratic candidates for Baltimore City Mayor. Register now to hear from former Mayor Sheila Dixon, Mary Miller, City Council President Brandon Scott, TJ Smith, Thiru Vignarajah, and Mayor Jack Young.

Watch the Debate at 10am

In case you missed it…head over to the Baltimore Votes Facebook page at 12pm to join our watch party. We’re going all the way back to pre-covid-19 times in order to share the Blueprint for Baltimore Mayoral Forum.

22 candidates for Mayor of Baltimore City participated in the forum, which was moderated by WYPR’s Tom Hall and Lisa Snowden-McCray of the Baltimore Beat and the Real News Network.

We will be watching part 1 and part 2, so stop in at any point between about 12 and 2pm.

Watch Live at 12pm

Join the Kevin L. Cooper Foundation from 5-6 pm for a Voter Education Zoom meeting. A few candidates will join in. Zoom details can be found on the following link.

Join the Conversation at 5pm

Also at 5pm, join Centro SOL for a Spanish-language talk about the Census and Election.

Watch on Facebook Live at 5pm

You can also head to our website now if you’d like a sneak peak at the rest of the week.

Have you signed up yet?

Time is running out to sign up for Party at the Mailbox. Boxes are starting to arrive in houses and we are LOVING all the photos. Keep using #PartyAtTheMailbox to let the world know. And remember, tell your friends to vote.

Register Now

Due to limited capacity, we can’t guarantee that everyone who signs up to receive a box will get one. No matter what, you’re still invited to the party! Baltimore Votes and Black Girls Vote are both nonpartisan organizations and we do not want to influence your vote for any particular candidate or political party. You do not need to vote in order to sign up. At this time, we cannot deliver boxes outside of Baltimore City.
