Original Black Art Fashion Designer Images made by SHURVON ALICIA, The Fine Arts Visionary!!!!
Who is NEM?
pronoun: slang for “and them” or “others” that aren’t present. usually added after a person’s name to imply that the subject is accompanied by other people – The Urban Dictionary.

Unfortunately, racist discrimination prevented many Black African American Visual Artists from having the same financial resources, museum exhibits, gallery representation and social popularity as other visual artists back then. Now, visual artists are able to use social media technology to reach a larger audience of people living in different countries to expand their fine arts businesses.

Black Women are also building successful art careers, despite the obstacles. They are making a real effort to turn their creative ideas into a visual reality. We are writing, singing, acting, dancing, painting and sharing our own personal stories straight from the heart and into our fine art. “As we See it, As we Know it, As we are currently Living it…We are building up our legacies Everyday!”

As a Black Woman, I decided to navigate my journey into the “art world” from a different perspective. Starting with redefining my own viewpoint of what, when, were and who I am as a Fine Arts Visionary from the Pacific Northwest

It was also necessary for me to rediscover my creative talents, apart from the typical art subjects that are traditionally taught in BFA and MFA academic programs. I chose a visual arts education program that encouraged me to produce modern contemporary fine art according to my own whimsical eccentric style.

Now here I am in 2023, in the process of producing a new Fine Arts World Designer Series with seven seasons, this is an update to the 2014 Fine Arts Theory Designer Series.

SEASONS 1:
‘SPRING FORWARD’ is a colorful mixed media abstract expressionist series, welcoming a new season of renewed strength and restoration for the future.

Each season will include seven original art images with the options to purchase limited edition prints on Facebook Marketplace. Please send an email to blackartdesignerfashion@gmail.com if you’re interested in adding this new series to your fine art collection – Serious Inquiries Only.

Shurvon Alicia is a Fine Arts Visionary from Seattle with a plan to fulfill her black art fashion designer dreams. There were several obstacles to navigate as she entered the art world, similar to climbing a mountain. When reaching the horizon, she realized that she was not alone in her quest to understand the art world.
