The last weekend in October is a road trip weekend as the ESPN/ABC college football week 9 slate will feature 10 ranked teams as visitors, including No. 2 Clemson and No. 8 Texas as the Tigers look to stay undefeated on the season and the Longhorns unbeaten in Big 12 play. The slate also features No. 21 South Florida who joins the Tigers as one of five unbeaten teams in FBS. ESPN’s slate of ranked teams hitting the road begins Thursday, Oct. 25, starting four consecutive days of ranked teams being featured across its networks.

No. 8 Texas on ABC’s Saturday Night Football for First Time Since 2013; Oklahoma State Looks to Extend Winning Streak vs. Longhorns
ABC’s Saturday Night Football will feature No. 8 Texas at Oklahoma State (8 p.m. ET), as the Longhorns make their first appearance on the signature college football franchise in more than five years. Texas is currently atop the Big 12 as the league’s lone undefeated team and, in order to remain that way, the Longhorns will have to defeat the Cowboys for the first time since 2014. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Maria Taylor will be in Stillwater, Okla., for the call.

ACC Rivalry: No. 2 Clemson at Florida State Begins ABC’s Tripleheader; No. 21 South Florida Featured on ABC/ESPN2
ABC will begin its week 9  with the highest ranked team playing this week as No. 2 Clemson travels to Florida State (noon). The ACC rivalry game will lead into No. 21 South Florida at Houston on many ABC affiliates, as the Bulls-Cougars will be regionalized between ABC and ESPN2 with Arizona State at USC (3:30 p.m.). Bob Wischusen, Brock Huard, and Allison Williams will be in Tallahassee, Fla., while Mark Neely, John Congemi, and Alex Corddry will be in Houston and Adam Amin, Rod Gilmore, and Quint Kessenich are in Los Angeles.

Ranked Big Ten Matchup Leads into Road Tests for No. 16 Texas A&M and No. 19 Oregon  
ESPN’s Saturday quadrupleheader will feature No. 18 Iowa at No. 17 Penn State (3:30 p.m.) leading into No. 16 Texas A&M at Mississippi State (7 p.m.) followed by No. 19 Oregon at Arizona (10:30 p.m.). The Nittany Lions are the only ranked team on ESPN’s network’s slate that is home this weekend. Coming off their upset of Ohio State, Purdue will be at Michigan State (noon) to begin the action on ESPN.

No. 25 Appalachian State and No. 23 Utah Highlight Thursday and Friday Night Schedule
The theme of ranked teams on the road begins early this week, as No. 25 Appalachian State travels to Georgia Southern on Thursday, Oct. 25 (7:30 p.m.) on ESPNU, and No. 23 Utah is at UCLA on Friday, Oct. 26 (10:30 p.m.) on ESPN. Also on Thursday, Georgia Tech is at Virginia Tech (7:30 p.m.) on ESPN.

ESPN Televises Boston College’s Annual Red Bandana Game
ESPN will televise Boston College’s annual Red Bandana game as the Eagles take on Miami (7 p.m.) on Friday, Oct. 26. The annual game is played to honor Welles Crowther, a former BC lacrosse player who is credited with saving numerous lives inside the south tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Sean McDonough, Todd Blackledge, and Holly Rowe will be in Chestnut Hill, Mass., for the memorable game.

ESPN+ Features all Conference Games for First Time This Season
For the first time all season, every game this week on ESPN+ will feature a conference matchup. The subscription service will stream more than 20 games in total featuring action from: Big South, Conference USA, Ivy League, MVFC, Pioneer Southern and Sun Belt.
