ABC’s Saturday Night Football: Clemson’s 19-Game Regular Season Win Streak on the Line
Clemson comes into their 2019 road opener on a 19-game regular season winning streak, with the Tigers’ last regular season loss coming October 13, 2017, at the same site as this year’s game – against Syracuse at the Carrier Dome. The ABC Saturday Night Football Presented by Wells Fargo matchup (7:30 p.m. ET) is the Orange’s second home appearance on the signature franchise, but first from the Carrier Dome.

Sean McDonough will call the game, as the Syracuse alum will be honored with the university’s Arents Award on Friday, Sept. 13. McDonough will team with Kirk Herbstreit and Maria Taylor, who typically call SNF.

The Nittany Lions hold the all-time advantage, with a record of 52-43-4 against their in-state rivals, including winning the last two matchups (2017, 2018).

In the afternoon on ABC, No. 24 USC is at BYU (3:30 p.m.), the third all-time meeting between the two schools. The Trojans have won both previous matchups, in 2003 and 2004. Dave Pasch, Greg McElroy and Tom Luginbill will be at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah.
