Technology

  • A total of 14 cameras will capture the action at Lincoln Financial Field, which includes SkyCam, two marshall cameras and two goal cameras; Six cameras will be setup at Homewood Field
  • NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship Alternate Angles Presented by U.S. Air Force on ESPN3 and the ESPN App will incorporate SkyCam and goal camera feeds
    • SkyCam feed will also be available to view on ESPN3 and the ESPN App
  • All three game officials will wear microphones during the men’s semifinals and championship, providing on-field dialogue during penalty calls
  • Men’s semifinals and final will air in Spanish on ESPN3

Commentators

  • Play-by-play commentator Anish Shroff, along with analysts Quint Kessenich and Paul Carcaterra, will call all the action from Lincoln Financial Field for the third year, with analyst and former secretary rules editor for NCAA men’s lacrosse Don Zimmerman serving as the rules analyst in the booth
  • Chris Cotter, Ryan Boyle (former All-American at Princeton) and Matt Ward (2006 Tewaaraton Award winner, national championship with Virginia) will provide studio coverage during championship weekend; Cotter will join the game crew in Philadelphia as halftime host for the championship game
  • John Brickley, Sheehan Stanwick-Burch, Jon “Stugotz” Weiner and Halley Quillinan will have the call for the women’s national championship on ESPNEWS and ESPNU; Stanwick-Burch was the first player in Georgetown history to produce 200 goals and 300 points in a career, and the first to record 100 points in a season.

ESPN.com will provide coverage from Philadelphia, including previews of the semifinals, championship game, as well as game coverage. espnW will preview the final four matchups and have stories and highlights from Baltimore.

Games aired on an ESPN network will also be available through the ESPN App, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
