Looks like hip hop’s newest rising star Megan Thee Stallion has just snagged her first major high fashion campaign!
According to Page Six, in September the Houston native was photographed sitting next to Anna Wintour during New York Fashion Week. Shortly after that Vogue teamed up with her to do a 24-hour profile on her. And now she’s has officially been announced as the new face of Coach‘s latest ad campaign.
Over the next few weeks the 24-year-old rapper will be starring in the label’s new “Wonder For All” holiday campaign alongside the likes of Yara Shahidi, Kate Moss, Spike and Tonya Lee, Camila Morrone, Miles Heizer and many other impressive notables.
In the ads, Meg is seen posing atop a white carousel horse in the snow while brandishing her ultra-long braid and wearing a black patent leather trench coat, over-the-knee suede boots and Coach’s gold rivet-studded “Tabby” bag in brown and black, which currently retails for $395.
“Capturing the magical mood of the season, it champions the belief of coming together for the holidays and the inclusive, authentic spirit of New York,” the press release for the campaign reads.
Coach even shared an image of Meg on Instagram, captioning it “Round and round she goes. From Hot Girl Summer to Hot Girl Winter, #MeganTheeStallion—wearing the newest #TabbyBag—kicks off #WonderForAll, our 2019 holiday celebration. Who wants to go for a ride?”
