Comedian, talk and radio show host, Steve Harvey‘s wife, Marjorie Harvey‘s first husband, Jim Townsend, is reportedly getting ready to pen a tell-all on his life and his ex-wife.

According to Radar Online, Townsend penned a memoir while in prison, detailing his time with his former wife, Marjorie, as well as his life as a drug dealer. The convicted cocaine felon, who was sentenced to life in jail after attempting to buy 40 kilos, served a total of 26 years in jail. Townsend was released back in January 2017 after being granted pardon by President Barack Obama.

The publication recently spoke to Townsend, who alluded that he had no loyalty to Harvey’s confidentiality.

“I have no allegiance to Marjorie, she showed her hand. I’m going… [to]tell my story. It don’t matter [if she knows about it].”

While it was rumored that Harvey may have also been an accomplice to her then-husbands’ criminal lifestyle, she was never charged with a crime. Townsend, once called a “Memphis Kingpin” by police told Radar that his former wife has some “secrets.”

“I’m pouring my heart out. No one knows what happened but me and Marjorie.”

News of Townsend’s memoir comes shortly after rumors that the Harveys were headed for divorce. Talks of a split between Steve and Marjorie were first reported to Radar, after it was reported that Harvey was on a mission to liquidate assets, and put up four of his Texas properties. Sources also revealed to Radar that the talk show host transferred ownership of one of his properties from Marjorie’s name, to his own.

Meanwhile, it appears Marjorie quickly debunked those rumors, when she took to social media to show her and husband Steve enjoying a BBQ.
