We are all in
need of a woo-saw moment these days, and Kevin Hart has answered the call! In
his latest project “Die Hart”, Kevin executive produces and plays a fictionalized
version of himself who’s tired of being the comedic sidekick. He gets his wish
when a famous director offers him his dream – to be a leading man action star –
but there’s a catch: Kevin must first train at the world’s greatest action star
school, run by a lunatic John Travolta. Pushed to his limits by this action
school coach and a tough-minded rival student Nathalie Emmanuel, Kevin must
survive a series of hilarious, over-the-top action sequences and face his fears
if he wants to achieve his dream and land the role of a lifetime.

Nathalie’s
character, Jordan King, is a tough, savvy, up-and-coming actress who’s sick of
her current role co-starring alongside a robot on a multi-cam sitcom. Her dream
– much like Kevin – is to become a lead in a big action movie. When she shows
up to Ron Wilcox’s Action Star School, she’s not there to make friends,
especially with Kevin. But throughout her time in the training program, Jordan
will break her own rule as she evolves from Kevin’s rival to his confidant and
friend.

Our Nicole
Haynes sat down with Nathalie, one of Hollywood’s most sought-after English
actresses, to discuss her role in “Die Hart” – Quibi’s 10 episode new show that
premiered July 20, 2020 and has new chapters released every weekday
until July 29, how her
career has been impacted by playing her most notable role of ‘Missandei’ in the
critically acclaimed HBO series “Game of Thrones”, her role in the Black Lives
Matter movement and her upcoming expanded role in the newest iteration of the FAST
AND FURIOUS franchise F9.

The actress was
last seen in Hulu’s romantic comedy series “Four Weddings and a Funeral.”
Emmanuel stars as Maya, one of the four American friends in the series who are reunited
for a wedding in London. The show was also being produced by Mindy Kaling and
premiered on July 31st, 2019.

Emmanuel is
featured in the voice cast for Netflix’s “Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance”
alongside Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy, Helena Bonham-Carter, Alicia
Vikander, Simon Pegg and Andy Samberg. The series based on Jim Henson’s 1982
classic THE DARK CRYSTAL. Additionally, Emmanuel is also set to star in Josh
Friedlander’s directorial debut HOLLY SLEPT OVER. The movie, which also stars
Ron Livingston, Josh Lawson and Britt Lower, is an ensemble comedy from LD
Entertainment.

In 2017,
Emmanuel was seen in THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS, the eighth installment of the
FAST & FURIOUS franchise. The movie went on to make over $1 billion at the
worldwide box office. Emmanuel made her US feature film debut in the seventh
installment of the massively popular FAST & FURIOUS franchise, FURIOUS 7,
opposite Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and
Paul Walker. The film has since grossed over $1 billion at the box office,
becoming the highest grossing film of the franchise and one of the highest grossing
films of all time. Emmanuel wrapped production on the ninth installment of the
franchise, FAST & FURIOUS 9, which is slated to be in theatres May 2021.

Emmanuel also
starred in 20th Century Fox’s MAZE RUNNER: THE SCORCH TRIALS, which is the
second installment in the popular young-adult franchise based on the book
series of the same name by James Dashner. In 2018, she went on to reprise the
role of Harriet in the movie’s sequel, MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE.
