Barris will produce an upcoming documentary on Ben Crump, the high-profile attorney who is currently representing the families of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery.

The untitled documentary on the Florida-based attorney will be co-produced by Oscar-winner Roger Ross Williams, who recently scored two Emmy nominations for his work on the Michelle Obama doc, Becoming.

The Crump special is expected to hit Netflix next year and has been in production for months, according to Deadline.

Some of the filmmakers attended the memorial held for Floyd on June 8, so it seems likely that some footage from the heartbreaking event may be included in the documentary.
