Shaft actor Jesse T. Usher recently sat down with EBONY to
discuss the latest installment of the classic film series, co-starring Samuel
L. Jackson and the original Shaft, Richard Roundtree.
Here, the actor plays a game of name association, sharing
his first thoughts on castmates Jackson, Roundtree, Regina Hall, Method Man
Calling Hall a jokester, Usher recalled the Girls Trip actress cracking several
jokes on set while Roundtree impressed by embodying his legendary character
even while off-screen.
Usher also praised leading man, Jackson, for his willingness
