(Reuters) – Drugmaker Indivior Plc said on Thursday its former parent Reckitt Benckiser’s $1.4 billion settlement with authorities in the United States was separate to its ongoing legal proceedings.

Reckitt said it had agreed to settle U.S. federal investigations into the marketing of an opioid addiction treatment by Indivior, which it spun off in 2014.
