The Steirischer Herbst festival, an art event held annually in Austria, has named the participating artists for its 52nd edition, which will take place from September 19 through October 13 at various venues throughout the city of Graz. The festival, which is this year titled “Grand Hotel Abyss,” will feature the work of more than 40 artists, many of whom have been given commissions specifically for the event.

Ekaterina Degot serves as the festival’s director and chief curator; she is working with a curatorial team that includes Mirela Baciak, Henriette Gallus, Dominik Müller, Christoph Platz, and David Riff.

Among the artists and collectives participating are Oscar Murillo, Elmgreen & Dragset, Jeremy Deller, Michael Portnoy, Alexander Brener and Barbara Schurz, and Riccardo Giacconi.
