ESPN heads to Monterrey, Mexico for the first of two regular season games from Estadio De Beisbol Monterrey

ESPN celebrates Jackie Robinson Day on April 15 with cross-platform features

ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell heads to Atlanta this Sunday, April 14, as Freddie Freeman and the Braves host their NL East rivals, Jacob deGrom and the New York Mets.

The Sunday Night Baseball team of Matt Vasgersian, Alex Rodriguez, Jessica Mendoza and Buster Olney will call the game on ESPN. Jon Sciambi and Chris Singleton will have the call on ESPN Radio. Both the ESPN telecast and ESPN Radio audio are available on the ESPN App. Sunday Night Baseball can also be viewed on ESPN Deportes and listened to on ESPN Deportes Radio.

Sunday at 4 p.m. ET, ESPN also airs the first of two Sunday games from Estadio De Beisbol Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, this season. Yasiel Puig and the Cincinnati Reds will “host” Paul Goldschmidt and the St. Louis Cardinals as both teams make their first trip to Mexico. Adam Amin and Eduardo Perez will provide commentary.

Baseball Tonight presented by Chevorlet will precede the games at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN, hosted by Karl Ravech, Mark Teixeira and Tim Kurkjian.

Jackie Robinson Day on ESPN

April 15 is the celebration of the 72nd anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in MLB. ESPN is commemorating the centennial year of Robinson’s birth with five cross-platform pieces that celebrate African-American baseball greats including Hank Aaron and Willie Mays, as well as a look back at The Negro Leagues.

The features surround two Monday games on ESPN. The New York Mets travel to Philadelphia to face Bryce Harper and the Phillies at 7 p.m. ET with Karl Ravech, Ryan Howard and Tim Kurkjian providing commentary. At 10 p.m. ET, the Los Angeles Dodgers host the Reds for Jackie Robinson Day with Dave Flemming and Rick Sutcliffe on the call.
