Before the Cleveland Browns selected quarterback Baker Mayfield with the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Oklahoma Sooners Heisman Trophy winner sat for a one-on-one conversation with Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl-winning quarterback Russell Wilson in April 2018 as part of ESPN’s pre-NFL Draft SportsCenter Special: QB2QB with Russell Wilson series.

Mayfield and Wilson discussed their shared challenge of being considered undersized quarterbacks in the National Football League, and how they both take losing personally. In the series, Russell Wilson mentored four top-tier NFL Draft prospects – also Saquon Barkley, Mason Rudolph and J.T. Barrett – by mentoring and sharing his NFL experiences with each.

Ahead of their first on-field meeting this weekend – when Wilson’s Seahawks travel to Cleveland to play Mayfield’s Browns, ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown revisits the quarterback-to-quarterback conversation between both signal-callers (Sunday, 10 a.m. ET). Preview.
