Nexcare, SoFi, Go RVing and Hotels.com join roster of official and event sponsors

Today ESPN announced the sponsors for X Games Minneapolis 2018, taking place July 19-22, with live coverage from U.S. Bank Stadium on ESPN and ABC. Nexcare and SoFi join the roster of official sponsors alongside returning brands Fruit of the LoomHarley-DavidsonLifeProof, Monster Energy, Pacifico, The Real Cost and Toyota. GEICO will once again serve as the official music sponsor. Explore Minnesota also returns as event sponsor with first-time event sponsors Go RVing and Hotels.com.

Heading into its second year in Minneapolis, the premier action sports and youth cultural experience will showcase the talents of more than 200 world-class action sports athletes competing for medals and prize money, as well as feature wide-ranging interactive festival elements and world-class musical performances from Kaskade, Brother Ali, Ice Cube and Zedd. All four musical performances will take place at The Armory, a historic venue located just outside U.S. Bank Stadium.

Elements featured as part of sponsor packages include on-site activations, content creation and rights to the official marks and logos. Sponsors will also have a media presence during the X Games telecasts as well as prominent positions across X Games social platforms and VIP experiences on-site.

The competition and festivities will kick off at U.S. Bank Stadium with Pacifico BMX and Skateboard Vert finals on Thursday, July 18.

Fans will also have the opportunity to browse product displays and on-site activations in X Fest provided by Keen, Marvel, Minnesota Vikings, iHeart Radio, Star Tribune, Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, Tap Minneapolis, TRIA, Minnesota United, the CW, Shred Hate, Boosted Boards and more.

ESPN and ABC will televise a combined 19 hours of live X Games Minneapolis 2018 coverage, which will also be accessible via the ESPN App to viewers who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider. Eight and a half additional hours of event coverage will be streamed live on the X Games Facebook, YouTube and Twitter pages to fans in the United States. Fans can get even more X Games content across digital offerings XGames.com, the X Games App and across social media pages. Following X Games Minneapolis 2018, ABC will deliver four hours of anthology programming, two-hours on both Sunday, July 29 and Saturday, August 4 as part of the World of X Games series as well as a one-hour Best of Show featuring highlights from both the sports and music on Sunday, August 5.
