  • Baseball Tonight and SportsCenter to Lead ESPN’s On-site Coverage
  • ESPN2 to Televise Baseball Tonight: World Series Preview on Oct. 21

ESPN Radio, with coverage presented by AutoZone, will broadcast the World Series presented by YouTube TV, for the 22nd consecutive year, starting Tuesday, Oct. 22.  Dan Shulman, the national radio voice of the “Fall Classic” will describe the action for the ninth consecutive season. He’ll be joined by analyst Chris Singleton and reporter Buster Olney.

Commentators Marc Kestecher, Kevin Winter and Tim Kurkjian will host hour-long pregame shows prior to each game. Audio from ESPN Radio broadcasts can be heard on the ESPN AppESPNRadio.com and Sirius XM 80.

Baseball Tonight presented by Chevrolet will be on site at the World Series for two shows each game day at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on ESPN2. The shows will bookend SportsCenter on the Road presented by Rocket Mortgage on ESPN at 6 p.m. Karl Ravech will host both editions of Baseball Tonight as well as SportsCenter on site. World Series Champion and analyst Mark Teixeira and analysts Eduardo Perez and Kurkjian will join Ravech on site. In addition, analyst Jessica Mendoza will appear on Get Up and First Take throughout the World Series.

Kyle Peterson will voice over Statcast data-driven vignettes that will air on all of ESPN’s platforms. The vignettes will focus on the outstanding pitchers that could participate in the World Series: Max Scherzer, Aroldis Chapman and Gerrit Cole, and what made them successful in getting to the World Series.

Mendoza and World Series Champion analysts David Ross and Ryan Howard will also contribute to SportsCenter’s coverage of the World Series, appearing on various editions of the show from ESPN’s Bristol, Conn. studios. A rotating team of on-site reporters will contribute to various editions of SportsCenter throughout the World Series, including Olney, Jeff Passan, Stefano Fusaro, Marly Rivera, Alden Gonzalez and Pedro Gomez.

Baseball Tonight’s World Series coverage begins on Monday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m., as Ravech, Kurkjian, Perez and Teixeira will provide analysis for the Baseball Tonight: World Series Preview show at 8 p.m. on ESPN2. The show will originate at the site of the World Series the day before Game 1. The American League Championship Series – the Houston Astros vs. the New York Yankees – continues with Game 4 on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 8 p.m. ET. ALCS Game 4 will feature a pitching battle between Masahiro Tanaka and Zack Greinke. Shulman will call the game on ESPN Radio with analyst Singleton and reporter Olney. The trio will call the remaining ALCS games.
