27-Game College Football Schedule Kicks Off Saturday with No. 8 Florida vs. Miami
Sunday NFL Doubleheaders Begin on ESPN Radio Sep. 8 with Chiefs-Jaguars, Bengals-Seahawks
Signature Morning Show Golic and Wingo’s Five-Stop Fall Football Tour Returns Next Month
ESPN Radio is once again gearing up for the college football and NFL regular season kickoffs with an extensive coverage plan across live games, marquee studio shows, on-site activations, fan promotions and much more.
College Football
ESPN Radio’s college football game schedule kicks off this weekend with ESPN’s Week 0 television matchup – the Camping World Kickoff featuring No. 8 Florida vs. Miami, in Orlando. The schedule continues with a Week 1 doubleheader featuring three top 25 teams. First, Duke and No 2. Alabama meet in Atlanta, Ga., in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, immediately followed by No. 16 Auburn taking on No. 11 Oregon in Arlington, Tx. The 27-game schedule culminates with three conference championships – Pac-12 (Dec. 6) and Big 12 and ACC (Dec. 7).
ESPN Radio’s new primary college football commentator team for this season will be led by play-by-play voice Sean Kelley alongside analyst Barrett Jones and sideline reporter Ian Fitzsimmons. The lineup will also feature other veteran college football commentators during the season.
Throughout the season ESPN Radio will also be commemorating the 150th anniversary of college football as part of ESPN’s multiplatform CFB150 initiative. Florida vs. Miami will mark the network’s first CFB150 Showcase Game of the Week. ESPN Radio’s College Football Playoff coverage plans will be announced later this season. NFL
ESPN Radio’s NFL schedule through the beginning of October features a doubleheader broadcast with coverage starting at noon and 4 p.m. ET every Sunday beginning Sep. 8 as the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Kansas City Chiefs followed by the Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Seattle Seahawks. The lineup also features the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots taking on the New York Jets on Sep. 22, preceded the previous week by a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship game with the Los Angeles Rams hosting the New Orleans Saints.

Studio Coverage
Each college football and NFL broadcast will be preceded by a 30-minute or one-hour pre-game show hosted by a rotating team of experts including Kevin Winter, John Brickley, Chris Villani and Jim Basquil.
ESPN Radio’s weekday studio programming will feature football analysts throughout the week to break down the trending topics and under-the-radar stories.
On the weekends, ESPN Radio will roll out an updated 2019 lineup with a focus on college football and NFL topics, featuring some of the most experienced and knowledgeable voices in the game to lead into the day’s matchups. The schedule will include ESPN Radio staples including the network’s own College GameDay with host Matt Schick alongside Trevor Matich and Brad Edwards. ESPN Radio’s College GameDay previews the Saturday ahead and provides updates on key scores and other need-to-know info throughout the day.

ESPN Radio Golic and Wingo’s Fall Football Tour
Beginning Friday, Sep. 13, ESPN Radio’s signature morning show Golic and Wingo will hit the road for its annual Fall Football Tour. Comprised of five stops, hosts Mike Golic and Trey Wingo with Mike Golic Jr. will visit a variety of NFL and college football hotspots in advance of some of the biggest games of the year.
The schedule opens in Washington D.C. before the Washington Redskins host the Dallas Cowboys that Sunday. The tour will also include stops in East Meadow, NY (Sep. 20), Dallas (Oct 4), South Bend, Ind. (Oct. 11) and Jacksonville, Fla. (Nov. 1).
Oct. 12, as part of the show’s visit to Indiana, Golic and Wingo will have a live broadcast and tailgate ahead of Notre Dame hosting USC and you could be there. ESPN Radio is offering a chance to Tailgate with the Golics at Notre Dame. Five grand prize winners will get the opportunity to experience Notre Dame with two of the school’s most diehard alums, Golic and Golic Jr. The contest begins Sep. 16.
The show will also be live from Louisiana on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, in advance of the College Football Playoff National Championship that night. ESPN Radio is giving fans the chance to experience the best of the best in college football going head-to-head in New Orleans alongside two seasoned veterans in Golic and Golic Jr. who will be sure to fully embrace the moment. The Golic and Wingo CFP National Championship Sweepstakes begins Nov. 11.
