A Conversation with Josina Anderson on Sunday NFL Countdown

Sunday on ESPN, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. ET

For nine seasons in Seattle, defensive back Earl Thomas was a key member of the Seahawks “Legion of Boom” secondary that dominated on the field and helped lead the team to their first Super Bowl championship in 2013.  Thomas’s tenure in Seattle ended last season when he fractured his leg in a game against the Arizona Cardinals. As he was carted off the field, the Orange, Texas-native spoke volumes – not with his voice, but with an obscene gesture directed at the Seahawks sideline.

In the off-season, Thomas began a new chapter in his career signing a four-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens. This week, As Thomas returns to CenturyLink Field for the first time since his departure from The Emerald City, ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown revisits Josina Anderson’s conversation with Thomas. (Sunday, 10 a.m. ET). Preview.

“I knew it was broke. But when Pete (Carroll) came in trying to act like he was concerned I was like ‘you won bro.’”Thomas on when his injury happened

Well I was basically talking s**t to Pete. I was like you won like you won this little battle that we were going back and forth with.”Thomas on his thoughts as he was carted off the field
