To kick off Frieze Week in London, Art Media Holdings, the parent company of ARTnews, held an intimate studio gathering for Brian Clarke’s new body of work in his exhibition “Brian Clarke: The Art of Light,” on view at the Sainsbury Museum in Norwich, England, through October 14. Guests gained special insight into Brian’s intimate relationship with light through stained glass and architecture.
Guests later experienced a one-of-a-kind, wine-paired dinner at the Connaught with Cult Wines in honor of artist historian David Anfam’s love for wine and art. The evening brought together curators, artists, and collectors alike. Notable guests included Eric Shiner, Michael Xufu Huang, and the Carpenter Family.
Art Media Holdings wrapped up Frieze with a tour of Jonathan Yeo’s studios, where guests had the opportunity to experience the world of painting in virtual reality using Tilt Brush.
