Stats from ‘The Bear’

  • This is the fifth consecutive year College GameDay will originate from the Army-Navy game
    • The third time the show will originate from Philadelphia for this game.
  • Corso is 8-6 in headgear picks this year.
  • If Corso is to continue his trend of picking Navy, he will be picking the underdog to win
    • He has picked the underdog to win five times this year. The only underdog to go on and win the game was Notre Dame vs. Michigan in the first show of the year
  • If Corso bucks the trend and picks Army, it will be the 59th different mascot head he has worn for his headgear pick.

Corso, Herbstreit, 1991 Heisman winner Howard and Rinaldi will then travel to New York City to join host Chris Fowler, college football analyst and 2007 Heisman winner Tim Tebow, and reporter Holly Rowe for the 84th annual Heisman Trophy Ceremony Presented by Nissan. The show (8 p.m., ESPN) will include interviews with the three finalists – Dwayne Haskins (Ohio State), Kyler Murray (Oklahoma), and Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama) – and their parents, as well as live music by DJ TJ Mizell, son of Jam Master J.

ESPN’s robust postseason slate include the exclusive presentation of the College Football Playoff Semifinals and the College Football Playoff National Championship, the New Year’s Six and a 35-game bowl slate, beginning Saturday, Dec. 15. A complete schedule is available here.
