  • Road Warriors: Undefeated No. 2 Ohio State, No. 10 UCF and No. 20 Cincinnati all Traveling; Buckeyes on ABC’s Saturday Night Football
  • Under the Lights in Death Valley: No. 22 Mississippi State at No. 5 LSU in Prime-Time

The ESPN/ABC college football week eight schedule will feature five undefeated teams, including No. 16 NC State at No. 3 Clemson matching up in a key ACC Atlantic Division showdown. ABC’s Saturday Night Football will also feature an unbeaten squad, as No. 2 Ohio State faces another Big Ten road test, while No. 10 UCF and No. 20 Cincinnati will both be traveling to conference foes. Overall, ESPN/ABC will feature 11 ranked teams, including three of the top 5 as No. 5 LSU hosts No. 22 Mississippi State under the lights in Death Valley on ESPN.

Undefeated ACC Showdown: No. 16 NC State at No. 3 Clemson
ESPN will air the only matchup of undefeated teams this week when the Wolfpack and Tigers face off (3:30 p.m.). NC State will be trying to reverse history, as they are winless at Clemson since 2002, including an overtime loss in 2016, and have just one victory against the Tigers in the last 14 matchups. Sean McDonough, Todd Blackledge, and Holly Rowe will be at Clemson Memorial Stadium in Clemson, S.C. for the call.

Under the Lights: No. 22 Mississippi State at No. 5 LSU in Prime-Time
ESPN will feature another matchup of ranked conference foes in primetime, as No. 5 LSU hosts No. 22 Mississippi State in an SEC West showdown under the lights of Tiger Stadium (7 p.m.). The two teams have split their last four meetings, including the Bulldogs earning their most decisive victory in the 111 matchups between the two squads last season with a 37-7 victory. Dave Pasch, Greg McElroy, and Tom Luginbill will be in Baton Rouge, La., for the call.

ABC’s Saturday Night Football: No. 2 Ohio State Looks to Remain Perfect
ABC’s Saturday Night Football features No. 2 Ohio State at Purdue (7:30 p.m.) in a Big Ten matchup, as the Buckeyes look to remain undefeated on the season. The matchup represents the third time this season Ohio State will be the road team on the signature franchise, having previously defeated TCU and Penn State. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Maria Taylor will be in Ross-Ade Stadium for the call of the game.

Ranked Teams Featured Throughout the Day across ESPN’s Networks and ABC
Leading into the primetime game, ABC will feature a pair of ranked teams to begin the day, as No. 9 Oklahoma heads to TCU (noon) and No. 18 Penn State goes to Indiana (3:30 p.m.).  Bob Wischusen, Brock Huard, and Allison Williams will be in Fort Worth, Texas, while Steve Levy, Brian Griese, and Todd McShay will be in Bloomington, Ind.

ESPNU will begin its day featuring one of the five undefeated teams as No. 20 Cincinnati is at Temple (noon) and ESPN2 will follow suit in primetime as No. 10 UCF plays at East Carolina (7 p.m.). To begin its day, ESPN2 will air No. 19 Iowa hosting Maryland (noon), while SEC Network will air Vanderbilt at No. 14 Kentucky on SEC Saturday Night.
