Luke delivered an eulogy on “The Life of a Legend” for his friend.

Betty Wright was laid to rest in her hometown of Miami, Florida over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

According to local television station Local 10, her family and close friends gathered at the Bethel Apostolic Church on Saturday (May 23) to send Wright off to her final resting place. Local 10 reported that everyone in attendance wore masks given the ongoing coronavirus crisis that continues to perpetuate throughout most of the country. Pallbearers donned black masks with a picture of Wright with the words “The Life of a Legend” emblazoned on them. During the service, Florida Congresswoman Frederica Wilson took the podium and paid her respects.

Among those also in attendance was hip hop forefather Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell, who read an eulogy, according to the Miami Herald
