It was written in the stars … or the lyrics of “Pete Davidson.”

During an interview on “The Tonight Show” on Thursday, Ariana Grande said she knew she and fiancé Pete Davidson were meant to be three years ago when they met on the set of “Saturday Night Live.”

“We never exchanged numbers or anything, we weren’t even friends for long. I had the biggest crush in the whole world on him the whole time like forever,” she gushed to host Jimmy Fallon. “My friends used to make fun of me for it … figured, whatever.”

The “Sweetener” singer left her hosting gig on “SNL,” where Davidson is a cast member, and couldn’t contain the butterflies in her stomach.

“I left his writers’ room … and my tour manager was in the hallway, and I’m not a crushy person, I don’t have crushes on people I don’t know … I left and I jokingly said to my tour manager, ‘I’m marrying him 100 percent. I’m literally marrying him.’”

Davidson must have felt the same way, as he recently told GQ that he wanted to propose to Grande the day they met.

The couple got engaged earlier this year after just a few weeks of dating.
