Rapper 50 Cent says one of New York’s finest “is not fit to be a commanding officer” after he called for other law officials to shoot the Power star on “on sight.”

50, born Curtis Jackson, shared a New York Daily News headline about the probe into Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez, who he described as a “Gangsta with a badge” in a Twitter post.

Gonzalez is accused of telling officers during a June 7 roll call last summer to “shoot [50 Cent] on sight” if he made a scheduled appearance at a boxing match in the Bronx, according to New York’s Daily News.

“The inspector just said that at roll call,” a source told the paper. “I’m like WTF.”

A police rep confirmed that “The matter is under internal review. ”

50 said on social media that he wasn’t aware of the threat until he read the headlines Sunday morning.

“This is how I wake up this morning,” he wrote. “This guy Emanuel Gonzales is a dirty cop abusing his POWER. The sad part is this man still has a badge and a gun. I take this threat very seriously and I’m consulting with my legal counsel regarding my options moving forward.”

A rep for 50 Cent told the news, “Mr. Jackson takes this threat very seriously and is consulting with his legal counsel regarding his options going forward. He is concerned that he was not previously advised of this threat by the NYPD and even more concerned that Gonzalez continues to carry a badge and a gun.”

Jackson also accused Gonzalez of being a “dirty cop abusing his POWER,” he wrote on Twitter.

Gonzalez has been with the NYPD for nearly 30 years and remains on active duty. He reportedly tried to pass off the deadly order as a joke. But the incident was reported and the department launched an investigation.

Gonzalez and the Hip-Hop icon previously spared back in May when the officer filed an harassment complaint against Jackson, claiming 50 threatened him on Instagram.
