For the second straight season, ESPN+ and ESPN are the exclusive presenter of Italy’s Serie A TIM – one of the world’s top soccer leagues – in the United States. ESPN+ will feature more than 340 matches throughout the 2019-20 season, which kicks off Saturday, Aug. 24, at 11:50 a.m. ET exclusively on ESPN+ with live streaming of Parma vs. Serie A champions Juventus, featuring five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.

Throughout the 2019-20 Serie A season (August-May), ESPN+ will stream an average of nine matches each week. One of ESPN’s linear television networks – ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNEWS – will carry a Serie A Tim Match of the Week, while some 40 matches will also be televised in Spanish on ESPN Deportes. Additionally, ESPN+ will feature one-hour season preview and review programs, weekly preview and highlight shows and a Serie A TIM Goals of the Week program.

ESPN’s Mark Donaldson and Matteo Bonetti will call the Serie A TIM Match of the Week on television as well as key matchups on ESPN+. Donaldson and Bonnetti open their second season together with a pair of matches – Parma vs. Juventus, followed by Roma vs. Genoa on Sunday, Aug. 25, (2:30 p.m., ESPN).

Italy’s Serie A TIM, entering its 118th season, consistently ranks among the top leagues in the world – featuring dozens players who represent their respective national teams in international competitions such as the World Cup, UEFA European Football Championships, and more.

 ESPN Networks and ESPN+ to Present MLS Heineken Rivalry Week Matches

ESPN+, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes will combine to present nine MLS Heineken Rivalry Week matches beginning today. All MLS Heineken Rivalry Week matches will stream live on the ESPN App. Highlights:

  • ESPN+ will carry six of the nine upcoming matches featuring top league stars such as Jozy Altidore and Michael Brady (Toronto FC), Wayne Rooney (D.C. United), Bastian Schweinsteiger (Chicago Fire), and more.
  • ESPN and ESPN Deportes will kick off ESPN television coverage of the rivalry week today (Thursday) at 9:30 p.m. with Sporting Kansas City SC vs. Minnesota United FC from Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City. Jon Champion and Taylor Twellman will call the match in English
  • ESPN and ESPN Deportes host a doubleheader of MLS action Friday – Orlando City SC vs. reigning MLS Cup champions Atlanta United FC (8 p.m.) followed by the league’s intense Cascadia Cup matchup – Portland Timbers vs. Seattle Sounders (10 p.m.)
  • ESPN2 will conclude television coverage of MLS Heineken Rivalry Week with the New York Derby – New York City FC vs. New York Red Bulls – Saturday at 7 p.m. Spanish-language coverage will be carried live on ESPN3 (tape delay on ESPN Deportes).

NWSL Action Resumes with Portland Thorns vs. Chicago Red Stars

National Women’s Soccer League action continues this weekend when the Portland Thorns, featuring U.S. Women’s National Team standouts Tobin Heath, Lindsey Horan and Emily Sonnett, host the Chicago Red Stars, led by USWNT stars Alyssa Naeher, Julie Ertz and Morgan Brian, on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 3 p.m. ET on ESPNEWS, live from Providence Park in Portland.

ESPN+ will also bring fans more than 150 matches from the English Football League (EFL) this season, featuring matches from the Sky Bet Championship, League 1 and League 2, as well as the Carabao Cup. Matches this weekend include action from Sky Bet Championship:  Derby County vs. West Bromwich Albion (Sat. Aug. 24, 7:30 a.m.); Stoke City vs. Leeds United (Sat.
